I was really looking forward to this as a good friend had recommended us. To be honest, I wasn't going to say anything but thought I should, really. The service was welcoming, and attentive are vegetarian dishes were nice, not amazing but interesting flavours. Are meat dishes we're a prawn and chicken dish. The chicken dish was not very nice it was burnt, both the bread and chicken, and the meat was dry.
I did mention this to the waiter at the end, thinking he would do something, but he never did. It was my mistake as I should have said something earlier. I thought as he was so helpful earlier on that he would have done something.
I don't really like to make a fuss or scene, but I was let down by this handling of this.
Would I go again??

Incredible lunch at Gold. Every dish we had was amazing, drinks were lovely and the ambiance is so warm and inviting. My favourite restaurant I’ve been to whenever I visit London!

El sitio es espectacular, muy acogedor con chimenea, buena música, muy buen ambiente, super acogedor y agradable.La comida no es tan espectacular bajo mi gusto gastronómico pero no se come mal, de precio como la gran mayoría de los sitios de Londres algo caro pero merece la pena ir sin duda alguna.

Gold è un ristorante straordinario, perfetto per chi cerca un’esperienza culinaria raffinata in un ambiente elegante ma accogliente. Il menu è curato nei minimi dettagli, con piatti cucinati alla perfezione. Il locale è spazioso, con un’atmosfera unica grazie al design ricercato. Il servizio è impeccabile e un ringraziamento speciale va a Carina, una cameriera gentile e professionale, sempre attenta a ogni esigenza. Un posto da non perdere nel cuore di Notting Hill!

The decor, ambience and vibe are beautifully thought through and designed. Sitting at a table in the back, the place feels like you're sat in a tropical jungle by candlelight. A wonderful concept for the look, and the food looks good on the plate too. Yet again, them proving that style over substance is a poor approach when building a restaurant, particularly one that wants to charge heftily for its food. The soul of any good restaurant is the food, and food without depth (of flavour, or thought) such as what you may find at Gold, can only cause a reaction of deep disappointment because the beautiful setting that was so charming before the food arrived, and that got you cheering for them, only turned to a false promise once the food arrived. Several others may rate this restaurant highly because of its date night potential, and maybe because they are confusing nice plating for flavour, or maybe because it represents the landscape of London restaurants at large, but without hitting the spot with the food, a restaurant can never separate itself from the rest.

A great place to dine. Ambiance is great and the food is better than it needs to be. A lot of vegetable options that are executed well, perhaps better than the meat. The sourdough tiramisu was incredible

Jestem zachwycona tym miejscem! Byłam w Londynie solo przez co miałam wiele obaw co do samotnych kolacji w restauracjach, gdzie zwykle przychodzi się co najmniej we dwie osoby, a w tym miejscu czułam się bardzo zaopiekowana i w ogólnie nie odczułam dyskomfortu pomimo samotnej kolacji. Obsługa bardzo miła i sympatyczna, kelner upewniał się często czy wszystko w porządku, czy może coś jeszcze podać - jest to może coś na co nie zwraca się aż tak uwagi będąc z kimś, jednak jedząc sama w kilku restauracjach w większości czułam się po prostu niezręcznie obsługa była miła ale mało zainteresowana, a tutaj dzięki obsłudze byłam całkowicie zrelaksowana. Co do samej restauracji piękny lokal, byłam na kolacji wieczorem, niesamowity klimat - rośliny, świeczki, przyjemne kolory. Jedzenie też było znakomite! Ceny może nie są najniższe, ale naprawdę nie żałuję ani grosza. Nie mam się do czego przyczepić, napewno wrócę tu kiedy będę znów w Londynie.

This spot is so nice! My friend and I went for dinner on a Monday evening, so wasn’t too busy, although we still booked a table. The interior was lovely with so much greenery. Food was great - we had the sweet potato, trout ceviche, roasted cauliflower and the
pappardelle. We loved everything - the trout was a standout. The menu has a lot of selection, so I’d recommend going with a group so you can try lots of different things. I’ll be back to try more out on their menu!

Esperienza pazzesca! Abbiamo pranzato per caso in questo ristorante, al bancone della cucina, il che ha reso tutto ancora più coinvolgente. Ogni piatto era super buono e curato nei minimi dettagli. Grande attenzione al senza glutine, grazie anche a un cuoco italiano con cui abbiamo avuto il piacere di parlare. Servizio attento, atmosfera vibrante e cibo eccellente. Merita assolutamente!
